Ocean Modules V8 Sii (8 vectorized thrusters) ROV:s

Currently, Ocean Modules operates Ocean Modules-V8- ROV:s and Seabotix LBV, both ROV:s adding strengths to different types of missions.

The V8 is probably the most maneuverable and stable observation ROV developed today, with the ability to pitch and roll 360 degrees. The V8 is also an excellent platform for sensors like side scan sonars, HD-cameras, probes.

One V8 ROV is dedicated for very long tunnel jobs, more than 2000 meters.

Seabotix LBV

The Seabotix LBV is an outstanding alternative when portability is crucial or work in confined or smaller spaces. The system is easily hand carried to remote spots, and the small size makes it possible to enter confined spaces.

Side Scan Sonar

Searching vast areas is usually started off by executing a rough side scan of the area. This is an important tool to adequately estimate the necessary time for the search and plan the search pattern. When the seabed conditions allow so, the Side scan sonar is used for the search as well. Due to its high resolution, small objects like weapons, bodies, lines etc can be spotted. After the side scan search, the object are identified with the ROV.

Spot.On software

During long survey missions massive amounts of data is produced by the sonar and video. The Spot.On software manages the data masses and associates data with its actual position. After a mission, a report is automatically generated that clearly shows the track of the vehicle and the points of interest, attention points. The result of the task can be immediately evaluated after having finalized the job.
