Ocean Services Sweden provides ROV services all around the world with a focus on Western Europe.
The main services are ROV missions, ROV equipment and pilot rental and ROV training courses. Ocean Services provides services ranging from supplying ROV-pilots or vehicles to full mission solutions, many times together with diving companies.
Operating the most versatile observation ROV:s, Ocean Modules V8 Sii, demanding jobs is our specialty. For certain jobs the Seabotix mini ROV is used. A small and highly competent vehicle equipped like the bigger ones.
Some jobs require more than just an ROV-system for a successful result. Ocean Services’ extensive network will help to get what is necessary to carry out the mission.
ROV services
Search and recovery
Often Searches for the police and coast guard.
These jobs usually involves a Side Scan Sonar to plan the search and finding preliminary interesting objects.
This includes search of vast areas for bodies and objects. Such jobs are made in conjunction with the Norwegian company Ocean SAR. This company inherits nearly 20 years of experience when it comes to arranging searches and taking care of found bodies.
Inspections
Inspections of ship hulls, under water structures, pipe lines
Power tunnel inspections
Typically nuclear power plants and hydro-electric power plants. Longest tunnel inspected is 2450 meters.
Recognition before dives or other works
In order to plan a diving work, the ROV is a helpful tool to investigate the area with the video and the sonar.
Diver support
The ROV can be used to add extra light and document the divers’ work when this is required.

ROV equipment and crew rental
The V8 ROV can be rented by companies with documented experience of the V8 Sii system. The Seabotix system can be rented provided a one day course is undertaken. ROV pilots can be rented for V8 Sii systems and Seabotix systems.
ROV training and courses
New pilots or pilot with no experience of the V8 system should take a course to fully make use of the V8 ROV:s full potential thatcomes with the 360 degrees freedom of movement. This can be made at the customers’ premises or at Ocean Modules Sweden.
